I slept horribly last night. Lately I fall asleep fine, but I wake up after a few hours. When I woke last night it took me almost 3 hours to get back to sleep. That has really messed up my day. A nap helped, though.
It’s the third day of my carb fast, and I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be able to keep it up. I’m noticing some shakiness. My blood sugar has continued its gradual decline. I’ve noticed some good things. Most notably I’ve noticed that I’m less bloated than before. That excess around my middle’s definitely going away.
I’m beginning to think I need to add just some whole grains and a few fruits and veggies back, but maintain a higher-protein diet for a while. Hmm. Gonna have to think about that.
