The 12 Words of Christmas

He became one of us . . . so we could become one of His.

This is really the whole thing in 12 words. Christmas isn’t about the tree. It isn’t about the food. It isn’t about the gifts. It isn’t even about family and friends. It’s about the birth of Christ.

God himself entered this world in they physical form of a baby born to a simple couple surrounded by animals. Shepherds, men of the lowest social status, were the first to hear the news.

Becoming one of us was the first step in offering us salvation. The story that begins with Christmas continues with Easter and is still going on today.

May this Christmas find you seeking the God who gave us Christmas.
