Be There for Your Customers

It’s a new year. Most of us have set some goals for the year or will do that soon. I’ve talked about it before, but I can’t stress it enough—form strong relationships with your customers.

Be in touch even when you aren’t trying to sell them something or get more shows on your calendar. Make a note if they mention an upcoming event (surgery, child’s graduation, parents’ anniversary party, etc.) so you can ask about it the next time you talk to them. Take advantage of social media. I don’t mean to use it to announce sales or offers. I’m talking about using it to get to know your customers better and to keep your name in their minds. Take care of any product issues they might have. Or, at the very least, help them to take care of those issues.

You’ll be surprised at how much your business will grow if you truly care about your customers and let them know how much you care.
