Don’t Be Like Most People

Remember those goals you set for yourself at the beginning of the year? We’re almost at the end of March—the end of the first quarter of 2010. How are you doing?

Most people will have given up on their goals. Most people will look at the past three months and realize that they haven’t make it ¼ of the way to their goal. They’ll get overwhelmed and give up. Don’t be like most people.

Most people, when they realize that they haven’t kept pace on their goals will decide that it’s too difficult to catch up to where they should be. They’ll decide that it’s too hard. They’ll decide that it doesn’t matter. Don’t be like most people.

If you’re on target for your goal congratulations. That’s great. Keep up the good work. If you’re not on target now’s the time to take stock and adjust your habits so that you can reach your goal. It’s not too late. As a matter of fact, spring is a great time to make a new commitment.

Don’t be like most people—keep reaching for those goals.
