Breaks are a good thing. A break from routine can help you relax. It can be good for you physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.
Today it’s difficult for a lot of us to take a real break. We tend to take our virtual offices along with us—laptops, cell phones, etc. We are available to do work no matter where we are or what we’re doing.
The same is true for anything we do, including exercise. Taking a break of sorts by shaking things up or taking the occasional day off is actually good for you. It allows your body to recuperate.
Now, don’t let that break become a slide into an unmotivated slump. But, do take a break—a real break.
